The lower street of Mont St Michel were packed with souvenir and specialist shops .. and packed with huge numbers of tourists.

These two photographs reflect Mt St Michel's enormous popularity as a religious destination, but even more as a tourist stop .. a world class honeypot!
Cars are parked on the higher parts of the foreshore, and coaches and brave cars have a spot nearer the mount, but in danger of inundation! |
