Langham Footpath 33

Footpath 33 runs from School Road southwards alongside the Recreation Ground to its junction with an arable field. The definitive route does not follow the route of the trackway at its northern end, although all users do follow this track.

Although this well-marked stile is on the official line, most people use a gap a few yards along, at the corner of the field!

Footpath 33 meets Park Lane along a trackway and crosses the road to the south, where a stile allows access to a  rough grass area.

The footpath crosses a diagonal of ploughed land, here being reunited with an old airfield trackway.

The southern section of the path follows a hedge row to a new ditch-bridge, shown on the left, before following the field boundary to the A12. This part of the footpath is very uneven, and near the A12 can be very muddy - from tractor turning. Few people seem to venture this far, probably because a circular walk including the A12 is uninviting.
