The road from Aldbrough reaches the coast at 257396, where some small bungalows line the road opposite a caravan park. The last bungalow now looks uninhabited and has its days numbered.

The road descends in a series of steps before being lost to the clay cliffs. As at Cowden, there\are no defences in place here.

The roadways of the caravan park are also suffering, and a row of caravan bases have been cleared as the cliff line approaches.

Dramatic views of cliff retreat, of rotational slumps and pools of surface water trapped on the cliffs .. and the loss of service roads and manicured grassed areas.
