approached by footpaths from the car park at North Hills Farm
(£3) and soon there is the full vista for inspection. |

You can take a
steeper path to access the west side of the bay, that gives a
view over to Pennard Burrows (right). |

The meandering
Pennard Pill stream can be seen cutting through sand dunes that
dominate the western arm of the bay. On the right is the
impressive ruin of Pennard Castle. |

From the sand dune
ridge the extensive and flat beach is dominated by the three
peaks that give Three Cliffs Bay its name. |
