Three Cliffs Bay is approached by footpaths from the car park at North Hills Farm (3) and soon there is the full vista for inspection.

You can take a steeper path to access the west side of the bay, that gives a view over to Pennard Burrows (right).

The meandering Pennard Pill stream can be seen cutting through sand dunes that dominate the western arm of the bay. On the right is the impressive ruin of Pennard Castle.

From the sand dune ridge the extensive and flat beach is dominated by the three peaks that give Three Cliffs Bay its name.
