  1. Read pages 82-86 from Tomorrow's Geography  and answer either Higher or Foundation from page 86.

  2. Look at the Excel sheet (shown opposite)- trade in tropical timber

  3. Make a graphic to display these figures; include a title, scales and a paragraph saying what you have learned from the graphs). You could ask a number of questions, such as:

'Which area of the world is being plundered most for its hardwoods?' or

'Which country is responsible for most of the destruction of tropical hardwoods?'
