Definitions and glossary work: Write out the words conurbation and unitary authority (an area in which the council does all the jobs required by the people there; they are not split between county and district councils) with a definition of what each means.

Using pages 56-57 fill in the sheet Administrative Regions of England. Fill in the gaps at the top of the map and then mark in the regions (we are in the Eastern Region) and label the other regions. Label just the counties that make up the Eastern Region. Lightly shade the regions with crayons.
