What's our weather like?

Using Geog1 page 58 and your eyes describe the weather at the moment by making a list of all the things you can see or measure.

Temperature Copy out the bullet points at the bottom of page 58. Answer qns. 2 & 3 page 59. Look at the two maps of temperature in Britain, for summer and winter.

Rainfall Look at the maps opposite and decide if there is a link between relief and rainfall ... what is it? Is there a link between relief/rainfall and farming types?
