Ecosystems

  1. Geog2 page 43. Say what an ecosystem is (bullet points).

  2. Geog2 page 42-43. Study the diagram on page 42 and answer qn. 1 page 43. this will need to be done on a sheet of A4 paper to give plenty of space for the connecting lines!

The food web

  1. Producers  How do plants produce food? Use the description, and diagrams, on page 44.

  2. Using Geog1 page 45 answer questions 1, 4 & 5.

The human influence

  1. Make a food chain, like the one at the bottom of geog2 page 46, showing how your meal of last night was made.

  2. geog2 page 46 question2. Write out the word and definitions, and then give two examples of each.

  3. Choose a photograph, like the one on page 47, and label upon it all the ways that you know man has altered the environment. A suitable photo for this purpose, taken from the  top of the wind turbine at Ecotech at Swaffham, is shown to the left.
