1. Decribe where Silicon Glen is located - this can be done in words or with a sketch map of the area .. not the whole of Scotland, which is very difficult to draw!

2. What is a TNC (explanation on page 41) and give some examples of TNC's - with their products.

3. Why do such firms come to Scotland?

4. When business is not doing well what happens to jobs in Scotland?

5. Look at the TNC cartoon and write down all the companies you can identify from their logos. Underline all firms you know are connected with computers.
